ARIES
PULTRUSION 
The pultrusion is a process for the
manufacture of profiles in reinforced termoestable
plastic with a high percentage of fiber glass (also it
is possible carbon or aramide).

As it is possible to be appreciated in the
sketch, the piece is preformed being divided
itself into a series of weaves and threads of
the reinforcement weave. These, after being
|
|
impregnated of the resin or
matrix are put through the mold in which it
polymerizes, obtaining therefore the wished
profile.
The mechanical properties and of chemical
resistance are given by the type of resin
(polyester, phenolic, vinil-ester...) and of the
characteristics of the fiber glass used or
others. |
